One God In One Man Jesus Christ

ONE GOD IN ONE MAN; the MAN JESUS CHRIST

I see Jesus Christ as a man. How can I not? He was born in Bethlehem, he was born a male human Jewish baby.
He was born on earth; in Israel. He did not float down from the sky one day. He did not suddenly appear in Mary's womb. He was not a man sitting next to Yahweh eternally. He did not exist prior to his birth in Bethlehem except prophetically. And in types and shadows.

(As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. (Romans 4:17)

God here says that he had already made Abraham the father of many nations, and the nations he made him father of, did not even exist yet. Why? Because God calls those things that be NOT as though they were!

It was always in the eternal mind of God to redeem the world. How did he do this? Not this way; You may see it this way, but I do not see it this way;

Yahweh on his throne did not turn to another person sitting next to him on the throne or on another throne and say.."Someone has to die for those miserable wretched sinners on earth
who never do anything I say. It will not be me.
I will stay here and watch you go. They will mock you. They will pluck your beard. You will be whipped with a horrible cat of nine tails. They will spit on your face and laugh.
You will suffer nails through your hands and feet. They will place a mock crown on your head and what they make it of will shrink into your skull causing you to bleed profusely.
You will literally die a horrible death. In short they will murder and I will get the glory.
I will get all the praise while you sweat, as it shall be great drops of blood in a garden.
They will arrest you. They will strip you naked.
They will sound through the streets advertising your death. You will be humiliated and hated.
I will be watching and receiving all the glory. I will be praised for sending you and you will be murdered. You will do this because I love them and this is how I will show them I love them by sending another to die for them.
I cannot go I am a spirit, but you can go because I created you for this purpose. That is why you sit next to me now as a second person to me.....to die while I get all the glory.
As you are being murdered for acting like me, you will ask me to remove the bitter cup. You will toss and writhe in agony as they pound nails through your hands and feet.
Of course I will say no. As soon as you are being tortured on a Roman cross, I will leave you. You will ask me why I have forsaken you.
I will not answer while the sun goes dark.
Everyone will praise me while you die. I am the Father, a separate and distinct person from you. I made you for this purpose to send you to die while I get the glory. This is what loving Fathers do; if a death needs to take place they send their sons to die. And the father gets all the glory. This is my loving plan for mankind.

No....I do not believe Jesus existed prior to his birth in Bethlehem.
I believe he existed in the mind and plan of God. God made everything with Christ in mind. BY Christ he created the worlds. God a spirit created the world knowing he would redeem it.
How did he redeem it? By Christ. In Christ. All things consist in Christ. Because of Christ and for Christ.
In his loving and wonderful in wisdom mind. That is how I believe Christ was there in the beginning..in the mind of God.

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;(Colossians 1:14-19)

We have redemption through what? His blood! The man Jesus. Even the forgiveness of sins. He (Jesus) is the image (not one image, or an image, or one of three images) but the image (singular) of the invisible God. One God.

God is invisible. God is a spirit. No man has seen God at any time....
Woman, believe me, the hour comes, when neither in this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, will you worship the Father. You worship that which you don’t know. We worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews. But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to be his worshippers. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. (John 4:21)

But Jesus Christ declared him. Early church fathers did not declare him. No one else but the man Jesus declared God. He is the One who died for the world. He died for me, the Father did not die. The Holy Spirit did not die. Jesus the real human man died. He is the one who died. A real man, in a real land called Israel, in a real world of sin, this world, was born in first century Palestine. He is the one who paid the awful price for sin. A humble man.

No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him. (John 1:18)
This is how I understand it. You may understand it another way.
Psalm 132:11;

The LORD hath sworn in truth unto David; he will not turn from it; Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne. (KJV)

God in this passage swears that He God will sit on the throne of David. A real throne that a real man in Israel sat on; king David, a descendant of Isaac who was a descendant of Abraham.

How did Jesus come to us? Exactly how God planned it. He came through the seed of Abraham.
Of the tribe of Judah. Of the national line of Jacob. Of the lineage of Isaac. He was born of a virgin because the Most High, which I understand is God came upon her. The Holy Ghost, which I understand, is not someone different than the Most High, overshadowed her and she conceived in her womb and brought forth a son. The angel told her to call him Jesus. He was the king of the Jews because he descended from kings.

God in Psalm 132:11 swore to king David that He Himself would sit on David's throne.
How could God sit on David's throne? Not a second person or third person or first person....This is an amazing verse in the Bible.
He came through, and by, and because of, his Word. What is God's Word? Everything that proceeds from God's mouth is his word. He spoke the worlds into existence.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. (Hebrews 11:3)

I understand that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh because within him was the Father. His Father dwelt in him.
Who is the Father? Evidently the Most High and the Holy Ghost. Two? No God is a spirit called by different names. God is omnipresent he is everywhere at once. He cannot be divided.
Is there a God beside him? He said I know of none!

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Timothy 3:16)

Paul said it is without controversy. Who did all these things in this passage? Jesus did.

If I trace his genealogy, I see first Mary his mother, then her father, and then his father, and then his father, and then his father, and on, and on, back to Nathan, to David, to Jesse, to Obed to on and on back to Judah to Jacob to Isaac to Abraham it keeps going back to God. God who in the beginning said...He said and this tells me that God speaks.

I see God walking BY HIS WORD through the pages of the Old Testament. He begins at Genesis 3:15;
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Someone might see it another way, but I see God here take his first step toward the cross. He came through his word using Israel.
How did God take that step? BY HIS WORD.

He arrives in Bethlehem four thousand years later emerging from a womb. Because the Word was made flesh!

He sent his Son this way;
But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, (Galatians 4:4)
This is really how he sent him.
Time was needed. Abraham had to be born; and all his descendants.
When finally Mary was born, then the fulness of TIME had come.
Under the law he was made. What law? the law of Moses. He was MADE of a woman. MADE.

God didn't make him, Mary did. How else can I take that verse? Made of a woman.
Yet Jesus as a man, a real man who hungered and slept fulfilled the law because he never once disobeyed his Father within him. He was humble and meek. Yet he was God in the flesh. God humbled himself, he did not send ANOTHER to die, he came HIMSELF.

I do not claim to know how God the Father and the man Jesus could be in one body.
No one knows.
But Jesus had the spirit (God's spirit) without measure, that is why he was able to forgive sins, and heal the sick, cast our devils, and walk on water and raise the dead.
"Which is easier to say thy sins be forgiven thee or take up your bed and walk" he said. Because the Word was in this man, he was the Word made flesh so all the flesh (the man) had to do was SAY it.
He sometimes spoke as a man, yet at other times he spoke as God; He even referred to himself the Son of man in the third person.
He said "The Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners."
He wept at Lazarus' grave, yet as God he raised Lazarus from the dead.
Not two persons, but one God in one man.

Yes we all come from Adam, but the difference is Jesus Christ's Father is God because this is how Mary became pregnant. The Holy Ghost overshadowed her. The power of the Most High came upon her.

I see him come through Israel. I see the land Israel. I see the Patriarchs and the prophets. I see the kings of Israel.. they were real people, and through these real people he came to earth as a baby born in Bethlehem.
How did God send his Son? By his Word. No other way. His Word became flesh (a man).
God was IN Christ (the Anointed One) reconciling the world to himself.

One God in one Man.

ACTS 10

1There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
A certain man named Cornelius, he is an Italian centurion.

2A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

Cornelius was just, he and his family feared God. They gave to the work of God and never failed to pray to God.

3He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.

But God gives him a vision. The angel calls him by name.

4And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

His prayers and alms remembered by God.

5And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:

You need to talk to Peter.

6He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

Here is where you will find Peter. He will tell you what you ought to do.

7And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;

Cornelius immediately did what God wanted him to do.

8And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.

Now the men who waited on Cornelius continually went to find Peter.

9On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:

In the meantime Peter goes to pray on the housetop.

10And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,

11And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:

12Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.

13And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.

14But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.

We learn so much about Peter here. He is a true Israelite and a man who prays.

15And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

Hmm...not to call uncommon what God has cleansed. This is new to Peter. But it came straight from God to him.

16This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

Three men are looking for Peter the man with the keys to the kingdom.

17Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,

18And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.

He doesn't understand yet what this means.

19While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.

20Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.

No doubting Peter God sent them to you.

21Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

Here I am. I'm the man you are looking for. What can I do for you?

22And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

The three men use the word warn when speaking of the angel God sent,

and tell him about who Cornelius is. Cornelius has a good report among all the nation of the Jews.

23Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

24And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends.

Peter the evangelist lodges these men, then in the morning they all leave for Caesarea for Cornelius's house with certain other brothers..Cornelius is waiting for them along with relatives and close friends.

25And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.

Cornelius doesn't quite know what to make of Peter, after all God sent an angel to tell him to send for Peter. So as soon as Peter walks in, Cornelius the Roman centurion falls down to worhsip him.

26But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

Stand up Cornelius I am am a man also just like you.

27And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.

We don't know what is said here in this verse by Peter to Cornelius. Not important for us to know or it would have been recorded. But now it gets even more interesting....

28And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.

God is about to save the first Gentiles.

29Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?

Peter asks what Cornelius wants, he knows only what God has told him not to call him or anyone unclean.

30And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,

31And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.

32Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.

33Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.

We are listening Peter to hear what God wants us to hear.

34Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

35But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

In every nation Peter says, whoever fears God and works righteousness is accepted with God.

36The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)

37That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;

38How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.

39And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:

40Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;

41Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

42And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

43To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Peter said after he told them all the above that whosoever believes in Jesus Christ shall recieve remission of sins. One must believe in Jesus Christ. That God sent his word by Jesus Christ and that word was published throughout all Judea beginning in Galilee after the baptism John preached. He commanded us to preach to the people he said to them and to testify that is is He which was ordained of God to judge the living and the dead.

He also says that to Jesus Christ give ALL the prohets witness,it is through his name.

44While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

The Holy Ghost falls on them all which heard the WORD. And what is the Word? Jesus Christ.

45And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.

46For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,

These Jews were actually astonished to see God saving gentiles. They heard them speak with tongues as did they did when they received the Holy Ghost on t he day of Pentecost.

47Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?

You all need to be baptized in water even as we were.

48And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

It is interesting when Peter tells the others all about this in the next chapter Acts 11.

Cornelius needed to be saved even though he was a just and a good man.

Cornelius NEEDED Jesus Christ. God also saved his family and his close friends.

He is the same God today.

The Twenty Third Psalm

Psalm 23

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.

He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
